Beloved children’s author Andy Griffiths has been thrilling young Australians with stories of psychotic bums and architecturally improbable treehouses for decades. Now he’s been named as the Australian’s Children Laureate for 2026-27, and he spoke with Dom Knight about where his own love of books began and how to get kids hooked on reading.
