ILLUSTRATED GUIDE BOOKS 2007-2023

100% fact-free fun!

When I’m not busy making up completely ridiculous stories, there’s nothing I like better than creating completely ridiculous illustrated guide books. I’ve made one all about the human body and one all about prehistoric bum-based lifeforms. I’ve even written an extensive guide to my own completely made-up treehouse.

What Body Part Is That-Head
Denton’s detailed sketches are flush with humour and imagination and Griffiths’s words are ridiculous and infantile and very funny. Kids love poo jokes, bottom lines and dinosaurs. So, it turns out, do 37-year-old mothers-of-two. This reeks of harmless fun.
Newcastle Herald
First of all—we love Andy Griffiths. But this book is by far our favourite. I have not laughed so much in a while. My 6yo son and I both love it. This is not an educational book—it’s a book about different body parts—mostly funny descriptions. For example—there is a page on Adam’s apple. This is what the book says: “other names for this big weird lump are: Bob’s banana, Fred’s fig, Greg’s grape, Malcolm’s mango, Leon’s lemon, Peter’s passion fruit, Rodney’s raspberry, Terry’s tomato and Walter’s watermelon.”
Amazon review
This is the ultimate guide to the human body … that is, if you want laughs not facts. Divided into two sections—the parts you can see, and the parts you can’t see—kids (and boys in particular) will be giggling away for hours upon hours.
