I am your BIGGEST fan. I am in grade 3 and have chosen you to do an author study on. You are cool. My favourite story is the one about Andy in the shower. I have all your books. I was watching dancing with the stars and one of the dancers names was Arson. I thought that would be a really good name for a character in your Bum Books. Please do a tour of Melbourne soon.

Madeleine Swain

Dear Andy – it occurs to me that after all that book signing and talking about your work, come November you may be craving a bit of down time and something a little different. Like being one of our magnificent celebrity judges at the Toorak Primary School first ever fair and dog show. My nine-year-old son tells me you are a huge dog lover and if you could spare an hour of your time on Saturday 27 November (State election day), we would be thrilled, nay ecstatic. I won’t take up any more space here, but if you are interested to know more, please drop me a line. We have some lovely actors and a musician, but you would really complete the line-up brilliantly.
